SEATPLY has established itself as a leading and trusted curved plywood manufacturer across North America. Based out of Montréal, Canada, SEATPLY has been producing quality plywood seating components in both 2D and 3D veneers for the contract seating industry since 1981.
The company, now operating out of two state-of-the-art facilities in Montréal as well as a plant in Malaysia, boasts over 150 employees occupying 150,000 square feet of manufacturing space, 18 5-axis CNC routers, two 8-head digital profilers, 30 presses, two CNC saws and an automated finishing line.
With the acquisition of Conception MB in Louiseville, Canada, in 2020 — a company specializing in solid wood chair components — Seatply became a complete solution for chair manufacturers. Our experienced engineers and manufacturing team assure the realization of even the most complex projects.

Levon Afeyan
Founder, CEO
Levon Afeyan started producing curved plywood in 1981 as an expansion to the family business. By 1994, he took the division private and created Seatply Products Inc. He is considered an innovator in the field of curved plywood seating components.
Martin Paillé
VP, Manufacturing Operations
Following the 2019 acquisition of CMB Wood, Martin was named Director of Manufacturing Operations of both Seatply and CMB Wood.
Martin Fiset
VP, Finance
With Seatply since 2003. Holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance and is responsible for all finances of Seatply.
Josh Zangwill
Director of Sales & Marketing
Joined Seatply in 2023, bringing extensive experience in sales and product development, leading sales, marketing and product development strategy.

Plant Manager
Joined the team in 2019. Holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Quality Systems.
